Montgomery County Office of Reentry’s Reentry Career Alliance Academy Receives 2024 Compass Award

Dayton, Ohio – The Montgomery County Office of Reentry’s Reentry Career Alliance Academy (RCAA) has been recognized with the prestigious 2024 Compass Award from Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague. This award highlights organizations that promote financial literacy and empower communities across Ohio. The RCAA program, which runs for four weeks and serves nine cohorts annually, covers essential topics such as financial literacy, housing, education, and healthcare.

Over the eight years of the program’s existence, the Office of Reentry has seen over 892 RCAA graduates with a 91% success rate. The collaboration with Day Air Credit Union and Montgomery County Treasurer John McManus offers returning citizens a crucial opportunity to rebuild their financial foundation.
